Fuel Tank De-Sealer
For Removing Polysulfide Sealants and
Top-Coat

Eldorado Solutions’ fuel tank de-sealing "system" removes
old or original fuel tank sealant to allow for re-sealing. Our fuel tank
de-sealer chemicals, such as
SR-125A and
SR-145, are U.S. Air Force-Approved and suitable for removing both
polysulfide sealants and top-coat without harming the aircraft.
We also manufacture chemicals that selectively remove only
the top-coat, for those instances where the sealant is still functional. In
addition, our De-Seal System equipment helps apply Eldorado products more
effectively and quickly.
De-Seal System Overview
The De-Seal System (Main Unit) holds about 400 gallons of chemical, which is pumped through a distribution manifold to various parts of the wet-wing. Inside the wing are plumbing parts and
our sprinkler system, which further distributes and sprays the chemical on the inside surfaces of the wet-wing. The chemical is captured at the lowest part of the wing and pumped back to the
Main Unit, filtered, and re-circulated.
A second piece of equipment, the Oil Unit, pumps oil to the
Main Unit which is then heated at the Main Unit (by passing the oil through
an electric heating coil) and then re-circulated though a heat exchanger in
the chemical-holding tank of the Main Unit, thus increasing the temperature
of the chemical making it more effective. The entire De-Seal process can be
accomplished in about 14 hours of recirculation once the plumbing parts are
properly affixed and plumbed.
